United We Stand

I grew up, and lived the first 30+ years of my life as a British subject. This whole Brexit mess is so un-British-like it blew my mind. The country will stabilize eventually and hopefully they won’t end up with just half of a small island. The financial lost will be recovered, albeit not any time soon. But the resentment and animosity will linger. Immigrants will always be suspicious of them and their young will always remember they have been sold down the river. Their world will have less trust and more enmity. The tragedy of living in the 21st century with a 19th century mindset.
